What to do when you arrive in Kinsale
Arrive in good time. Find your venue and go to it.
NO NEED TO GO TO FLEADH OFFICE TO REGISTER, --> GO TO THE VENUE WHERE YOUR COMPETITON IS ON.
Wrist bands and Programs will be for sale at the venue.
No wrist band - No Entry.
Check the program carefully, If your name was submitted in Irish - it will appear on the program in Irish. (know you name as Ghaeilge)
Tin Whistle (Feadóg) and Flute (Feadóg Mhór) competitions are in 3 rooms
- The U12 Tin Whistle competition is divided into 2 rooms, check both rooms for your name.
- The U12 Fiddle competition is also divided into 2 rooms, check both rooms for your name.
- The U12 & U15 Consairtín competitions are divided into 2 rooms, check both rooms for your name.
** If there is a spelling mistake - Tell the Call Steward at the venue.
** If you are entered in the wrong age group or wrong competition - Go to the Fleadh Office.
If you are competing in more than 1 competition at the same time, you can ask the Call Steward at the desk to compete early, then go to your next competition.
You must inform the Call Steward in all venues in advance in writing (outlining the precise details of the time, no in competition ,etc) if you are competiting in more than 1 competition. Competitors not present when called may be disqualified.
If you would like to get copies of your adjudication sheet - there will be a table in Fleadh Office 12-5 on Saturday and 12-5 on Sunday.
If you have not returned your County trophy, please bring it to the Fleadh with you. Munster Trophies must be returned to the Munster Committee.
Health and Safety:
All stewards will be wearing high visibility vests. Please co-operate with our Fleadh stewards at all times

1. A competitors performance in competition may be recorded ONLY with the prior permission of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann.
2. Permission to record will be given at the discretion of Comhaltas Cheoltoiri Eireann on receipt of a completed application form with the WRITTEN CONCENT of the Competitor / Parent (if under 18) in question.
OR - if Grúpaí Cheoil or Buíon Cheoil Chéilí - Music Teacher / Branch Secretary written Consent is required
