Welcome to the official website of the Cork County Fleadh 2012, which will be held in Macroom, Co Cork, from the 6th - 8th May 2011.

Aghinagh Comhaltas is proud to be the hosting branch of Fleadh Cheoil Chorcai 2012. This will be the third occasion that the Cork County Fleadh has been hosted by Aghinagh CCÉ in Macroom. In recent years the branch organised two hugely successful County Fleadhanna in 2001 and 2008 along with the Munster Fleadh Cheoil in 2005

The Fleadh Cheoil is a weekend festival comprised of ceili dancing, music sessions, street entertainment and competitions in music, singing, dancing and storytelling. Under 12 and 12/15 competitions will take place on Saturday May 12th, while 15/18 and Senior competitions will take place in Sunday, May 13th. This year set and céilí dancing competitions will take place prior to the Fleadh weekend in Coachford..Two qualifiers from each competition will go forward to represent Cork in the Munster Fleadh Cheoil in Dungarvan in July 2012.
